Bossa Beach
Information
Platja d'en Bossa is one of the largest and most bustling beaches in Ibiza, renowned for its vibrant atmosphere. The beach is lined with various restaurants, beach bars, and hotels that cater to both families and younger crowds.
- Positives: Visitors appreciate the clean, crystal-clear water and the ample space for swimming and walking, with many noting its suitability for sunbathing and relaxation. The beach stretches 2.7 kilometers, offering plenty of room for everyone.
- However, numerous users have pointed out the high prices for beach loungers and umbrellas, which can deter some from fully enjoying their day. Additionally, the presence of algae and litter in some areas has been criticized.
- Recommendation: It's wise to explore quieter sections towards the end near sophisticated beach clubs like Coco Beach and Nassau Beach, where the environment is more tranquil and pleasant.
While the beach is ideal for those looking for entertainment and nightlife, it may not appeal to those seeking a more peaceful beach experience. Visitors are advised to come early to secure a good spot, especially during the busy summer months.

Positive experience: Overrated...forget about parking and get ready for the posing
Positive experience: You can see the airplanes on their belly when they fly over you
Fantastic experience: Sunbeds at the beach house starting from 130 euros per day, sunbeds without the beach house with a parasol 30 euros per day, sellers of clothes, caps, bags, glasses, etc. are very expensive but leave immediately if you don't want to buy anything. There is a man who sells chilled drinks in cans for 3 euros each.
Fantastic experience: Very good, large, with few people, easy parking and clean water. In addition, some buildings provide shade and at certain times you don’t even need an umbrella.
Positive experience: This lantern is still far from the road, we have to walk. Be attentive to the path or you will get lost on the way back.

Negative experience: What a shame, dirty beach, everything focused on the drunken tourism that needs to be eradicated. Planes making noise every 3 minutes. Everything is designed to scam the tourist. It does not reflect what Ibiza is.
Positive experience: We went thinking there would be a lively atmosphere, but it was just another beach. Moreover, the sea was rough and it was dirty. Ibiza has much prettier beaches and coves.
Positive experience: Large beach, quite dirty sand with seaweed, you can go for the convenience of the location. Nothing special.
Positive experience: Massive sandy beach with lots of restaurants nearby, very much a tourist beach with lots of clubs charging all sorts of prices. Close to the airport, plenty of hotels. Other quieter beaches and areas for myself, but a good place to shop for tacky presents.
Positive experience: Great beach for walking, exercising, etc... The longest in Ibiza, surrounded by hotels and a promenade with a small port. Fine sand with a lot of seaweed and little balls forming. Good location.

Fantastic experience: It has a length of 2.7 kilometers. It is one of the longest beaches on the island and is very urbanized, with large hotel complexes, restaurants, retail shops, and residential properties. During the summer months, the area becomes one of the busiest resorts on the island. Where hï Ibiza, Ushuaia, etc. are located...
Positive experience: In summer ideal for a young audience, many clubs and beach bars.
Positive experience: Beach with a strong point being the water temperature and the proximity to bars and restaurants. Weak point: beach with little sand and needing cleaning of the marine flora.
Negative experience: The beach is not beautiful at all, very narrow and full of seaweed. It is known for the many stylish beach bars where the stars and wealthy go, but the beds are also placed very close together. Totally overpriced to pay $500 minimum spend for that.

Positive experience: Beautiful expansive beach with gently sloping water.
Negative experience: A pretty average city beach. While on the island, I recommend some other beautiful coves with crystal clear waters.
Positive experience: Located in Saint Jordi, about 10 kilometers from the port of Ibiza, it can be reached by taxi (around 16 euros for a ride) or by public transport. The beach is quite large with free areas and other sections connected to beach bars that offer sunbed and umbrella services at rather high prices. The water is clear and relatively shallow up to several meters from the shore and generally not excessively rough. Ideal for both families and younger people. Nearby, there are some of the trendiest and most expensive restaurants on the island and the most famous clubs. Quite beautiful.
Fantastic experience: Very good, large, with few people, easy parking and clean water. In addition, some buildings provide shade and at certain times you don’t even need an umbrella.
Positive experience: Large beach, fairly clear water.

Positive experience: Una spiaggia famosissima... Qui affacciano tutti i grandi hotel di Ibiza ed i locali + famosi. Il mare secondo me è bello, almeno nella mia tappa lo era. Da frequentare sicuramente tra amici, c'è il top del divertimento.

Negative experience: A pretty average city beach. While on the island, I recommend some other beautiful coves with crystal clear waters.
Positive experience: Mediocre beach, not very clean. Playa d'en Bossa is the new Lloret de Mar....
Positive experience: Located in Saint Jordi, about 10 kilometers from the port of Ibiza, it can be reached by taxi (around 16 euros for a ride) or by public transport. Fantastic experience: Always a pleasure to swim at Bossa!
Fantastic experience: Very good, large, with few people, easy parking and clean water. In addition, some buildings provide shade and at certain times you don’t even need an umbrella.
Positive experience: Large beach, fairly clear water.
Fantastic experience: The beach is beautiful, with bars and restaurants where you can rent sun loungers as well as beautiful large beds with umbrellas.
Fantastic experience: This beach is idyllic
Negative experience: What a shame, dirty beach, everything focused on the drunken tourism that needs to be eradicated. Planes making noise every 3 minutes. Everything is designed to scam the tourist. It does not reflect what Ibiza is.
Positive experience: Loved it, crystal clear water, big waves. Only thing that is annoying is the people who walk around and offer clothes, towels etc for sale, hair braiding services etc...
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful cove ideal for going with the family
Positive experience: We went thinking there would be a lively atmosphere, but it was just another beach. Moreover, the sea was rough and it was dirty. Ibiza has much prettier beaches and coves.
Positive experience: Many planes flying overhead, but overall it's fine
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach with a very beautiful sea. I can only recommend this beach. The atmosphere at this beach is also wonderful.
Positive experience: Unlike other public beaches in Ibiza, I could say this one is cleaner, but unfortunately the water is dirty and full of algae, which I encountered on several beaches in Ibiza. If you are looking for a sunbed at the beach clubs in the area, you will find prices starting from 70 EUR up to 200 EUR (for 2 people) depending on the location. Some offer food and drink included in the price, so it's good to know in advance what you want in order to choose the right offer.
Positive experience: Beautiful but not by much, quite dirty as a beach, mediocre sea.
Positive experience: Nice beach, too crowded for my taste, I prefer something quieter, that doesn't take away from the fact that they are very organized and know how to squeeze every cent from tourists...
Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach with crystal clear and warm water... with a spectacular spot... I recommend anyone visiting Ibiza to go there.
Positive experience: Acceptable beach But on the island there are better coves With clear and transparent water
Fantastic experience: Very nice beach. Quiet.
Positive experience: Beautiful but you have to go early. It's small.
Positive experience: Great beach and you can be calm at least in June and July
Fantastic experience: It was great to spend the day at a beach show.
Positive experience: The beach is fine, but not my personal favorite. What I like about Bossa beach is the very end where it is a bit more quiet, around Coco Beach Club, Beach House, Nassau Beach Club, and Hard Rock. There is a viewing tower at the very end; you can go up there when it is open to take a picture of the whole beach. It is very long, going all the way to Figuretas with a short break in between. I do run there sometimes; it's about 1.5 to 2 km long.
Positive experience: the beach of the nightclubs, nothing special
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful place with great gastronomy everywhere
Fantastic experience: Super awesome! It was the best days of my life
Fantastic experience: Ideal place to party. Bars, restaurants, nightclubs...
Positive experience: Long and spacious beach, suitable environment for young people. Here the sea is not as beautiful as in the coves.
Fantastic experience: Good and big beach, I didn't stay long but it's calm and clean. Good atmosphere
Fantastic experience: A well-serviced beach suitable for families with small children.
Positive experience: The beach has too many algae, but there are chairs & parasols at a sensible price
Positive experience: Very beautiful, it's a paradise but the buildings, the facades, and furniture are very old and dirty, meaning they have little public cleaning service. What seems very unfortunate to me is that an island with a beautiful coast charges us what they ask for being summer season.
Fantastic experience: Great beach for swimming and strolling. During the day, there is a very good atmosphere. I would say it's a must-visit if you're coming to Ibiza.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful and spacious
Positive experience: Probably the largest beach in Ibiza! Extensive sandy area, with great water! It's a shame about the noise coming from the surrounding bars!
Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. I loved it.
Positive experience: Great beach with a very nice atmosphere.
Fantastic experience: The area where the whole Ibiza vibe is, although for me it is not the most suitable to sunbathe and be relaxed.
Fantastic experience: Incredible beach with a lot of atmosphere and very beautiful
Fantastic experience: Really clean, nice water, could do with bars playing music for everyone to hear
Positive experience: Super, but very artificial
Fantastic experience: Empty and relatively clean in the season. Relaxed.
Fantastic experience: Great beach - positively surprised, thought it would be full of party people but it has a super chill atmosphere - best beach in Ibiza so far
Positive experience: Beautiful beach but only one beach restaurant and very expensive... Plan to bring your own food if you don't want to break the bank.
Positive experience: This lantern is still far from the road, we have to walk. Be attentive to the path or you will get lost on the way back.
Fantastic experience: Magnificent beach....
Positive experience: Great beach for walking, exercising, etc... The longest in Ibiza, surrounded by hotels and a promenade with a small port. Fine sand with a lot of seaweed and little balls forming. Good location.
Positive experience: Excellent paths along the sea, ideal for exercising at any time, and if you like, you can find a very cool calisthenics circuit with weights, free and facing the sea.
Fantastic experience: A beautiful beach, I loved it. It was the start of our trip and we ate there while watching the turquoise sea. A charming place.
Positive experience: In summer ideal for a young audience, many clubs and beach bars.
Fantastic experience: Visited in October, beautiful, long beach, clean and wonderfully located...
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach. Very well maintained. With a juniper grove that should not be missed.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach
Positive experience: Quiet beach near Ibiza town, about a 15-minute drive or less. Now in winter, free and easy parking.
Fantastic experience: In this place, we said goodbye to the beaches of Ibiza.
Fantastic experience: It is literally a paradise, I appreciate how clean it is and in perfect conditions. For a getaway in Ibiza, I highly recommend it.
Positive experience: Beautiful, just be sure to go during season or many of the shops may be closed. A little bit of a walk otherwise.
Fantastic experience: Great large sandy beach. We were in Ibiza in October and everything was well-kept and clean.
Negative experience: It's not one of the prettiest in Ibiza. Overall, it's a party area, in winter there are no people.
Fantastic experience: A very beautiful place
Fantastic experience: Cute
Positive experience: A must-visit if you go to the island
Positive experience: Generally clean, with nice sand. The only downside are the prices for loungers (10€ per lounger or umbrella per day), and the vendors selling counterfeit handbags all day.
Fantastic experience: Super wide beach, with a lot of dining options and plenty of space to walk, lie down, and do sports. We ate at Tuk Tuk Ibiza on some awesome loungers while enjoying some amazing cocktails. Open year-round.
Fantastic experience: It is maybe not the best Beach in Ibiza but to compare to other Beaches in some other Countries it is a very beautiful Beach with crystal clear water and one of my favorites. Fine Sand, very long and at some points also bright. So you find always a quite place only for you… the side from Ushuaia or Hard Rock Hotel on will be more quieter and cleaner.. if you wanna music you can go to the several Beach Clubs. I just love this place thats why i came here year by year from 2006.
Fantastic experience: Dream
Positive experience: At the end of the season, it was a bit quieter earlier in the evening at the beach tents, and a number of vacancies were also noticeable.
Positive experience: Beautiful large beach, great water. There is music in many places. Unfortunately, there are no public restrooms and showers.
Positive experience: Beach with a strong point being the water temperature and the proximity to bars and restaurants. Weak point: beach with little sand and needing cleaning of the marine flora.
Positive experience: A beautiful caramel sand beach, not like the ones in the Caribbean, there are plenty of restaurants all along the beach. We chose the Ushuaïa restaurant, excellent food and wonderful service!!!
Fantastic experience: A beautiful sandy beach that stretches along the coast of the city of Ibiza, fine sand ideal for those who want to take a nice walk. The beach offers sunbed and umbrella service; moreover, the Ushuaia Tower is located there with the famous nightclub of the same name, from which you can listen to music at any hour. A beach to visit and enjoy.
Negative experience: The beach is not beautiful at all, very narrow and full of seaweed. It is known for the many stylish beach bars where the stars and wealthy go, but the beds are also placed very close together. Totally overpriced to pay $500 minimum spend for that.
Negative experience: Very beautiful beach but littered with seaweed and other trash
Fantastic experience: We were disappointed when we arrived, but soon realised there had been a massive storm. Tractors were out every morning, and it was all clear in no time. Great place to catch sunrise
Positive experience: Some days the water is rough and full of seaweed. The water doesn't look as clear and Mediterranean then. You really need to go to the other side, the west. But the hotels are nice on this side. Plenty of space on the beach, cheap in the sand or expensive on a sunbed. There's something for everyone. Club Ushuaia is definitely the place to be here....
Negative experience: Very dirty beach due to partygoers, there are services and at least they compensate for the lack, the super spar is very expensive and the presentation is horrible.
Fantastic experience: A huge beach that is very well located. Ideal for couples and young friend groups.
Positive experience: Nice beach relatively close to the city. Reasonable prices for umbrellas and loungers.
Fantastic experience: Excellent service, exquisite dishes. Gogo dancers constantly animating the place, good music, located next to a beautiful beach.
Negative experience: After the sand, the dirt. Unfortunately not a place to be able to survive much longer than a few minutes. It stinks like hell. So much algae or whatever has been washed ashore. The picture tells it all. Wanna experience life post climate crisis, this is the place to be.
Negative experience: It's a horrible beach, they have completely destroyed it. In the first part, the constructions and the promenade have taken over the beach, and the rest has no promenade; it's all occupied by horrible buildings that, of course, do not comply with the Coastal Law. Not to mention how dirty and abandoned it is overall. It's inconceivable that this city lives off tourism. If you love Ibiza, please don't come here.
Negative experience: Disco only. Not worth to go there exact for an evening/night at one of those discos
Fantastic experience: Nice beaches ⛱ many bars , nightclubs beach bars and dayclubs. In summer season from May till end of September the entire area is lively! I love it
Fantastic experience: The best beach I have ever been to. The water was clean and clear as could be. The sand was also clean. Many different types of bodies all enjoying the tranquil water.
Positive experience: It's okay. There are better beaches to swim into on the Island, this is not one of them. The waves are not steady. And English footballers can hit you and they are all verbally aggressive kids.
Positive experience: Cool beach although I’ve seen others more beautiful. Mostly party crowd that doesn’t mind paying for expensive drinks
