Fantastic experience: Very clean and beautiful beach. The promenade had a nice atmosphere in December, but with very healthy tourism, no noise, and you could feel calm and harmony. Beautiful views at sunset.

Fantastic experience: Apart from the wind, it is an idyllic place, and even more so at night. This comment is for young people. In summer, it gets crowded, with tourists and people from inland Murcia spending the day here.

Negative experience: It's the dirtiest sea water I've ever bathed in my entire life. And let's not even talk about the jellyfish that were there. I give one star because the sand is the kind that doesn't stick to your body like you have glue or something like that. I won't return to that beach even if they paid me for it.

Positive experience: The very warm water does not exceed 70/80 cm, many jellyfish. For walks, restaurants, and sunbathing it’s good but not for swimming.

Positive experience: It's a quiet beach where it doesn't get deep no matter how far you go, which is ideal when you have little ones with you. They say its waters have medicinal properties, and walking along the promenade, you can reach the mud that is also said to have healing powers. In short, it's not a very touristy or crowded area, but it is very calm, ideal for elderly people and children. They have a permanent fair like the old neighborhood ones with raffles, bingo... It's a good place for a peaceful and family-oriented vacation.

Positive experience: The beach of La Mota and the long walk to the mill of Calcetera and Punta de Algas becomes an idyllic space at sunset.

Fantastic experience: Very nice place to spend time with family, but this year they appointed a lifeguard who is not pleasant at all. He was in shorts in the water, shouting. In my opinion, to avoid shouting or such things, you should put up written rules at the entrance, and with that, I think we would all understand. I truly believe it's unpleasant for him to be shouting at everyone who arrives. On one hand, it's good, but there are ways to convey information to those of us who visit these beautiful places. It's recommended.

Negative experience: At first glance, it seems like quite a good beach, but the opposite is true; it's one of the worst beaches I've been to. The water is warm, filled with jellyfish and algae, I wouldn't come back.

Negative experience: One star because I can't give less. It is full of seaweed and jellyfish... That is what happens when the beach is not cleaned regularly and we have to wait until people cannot swim due to the jellyfish plague or when people swimming overwhelm the lifeguards due to jellyfish stings. It's regrettable the state of a beach that with a little maintenance would be ideal for elderly people and children.

Positive experience: The beach is very shallow, the water is really warm. There are many cafes and bars. It's a quiet and calm place, in the evenings there is no loud music or parties. A favorite spot for relaxing with children and elderly people. Nearby there is a puddle with therapeutic mud and flamingos. Very convenient foot washing stations (I hadn't seen such anywhere in Spain). These are the pros. Cons: the water is very dirty, containing a lot of algae and jellyfish.

Positive experience: I love that the water is not deep, the sand is very clean... but there are so many jellyfish that you can't even walk a meter in the water... jellyfish that don't sting but the high concentration at the end causes rashes...

Positive experience: Fine sand beach, with a soccer field, water to wash your feet, restrooms, and beach bars. It is next to the mud baths. Not a single wave, ideal for the little ones. The problem was that there were a lot of jellyfish, but they didn't sting, so it was a splash.

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful place where everyone can find something interesting for themselves. For nature lovers, there are beautiful, natural beaches that can be reached in a few minutes by bike. This place is perfect for fascinated people. Numerous bike paths, runners can enjoy the views while running along the beach, kitesurfing, sailing. There are also golf courses nearby. The city is clean and well-kept, and local bars and restaurants serve tasty, high-quality, and not necessarily expensive food. There is an opportunity for free relaxation in nearby healing mud. A nearby place worth visiting is the city of Carthage. Great place for a vacation, I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: It's a beach. It's hard to believe that there is no 'Beach' category in Google Maps and that there are many strangely labeled beaches, such as tourist attraction, beach club, public restrooms, etc. Let's see if Google Maps improves these things.

Positive experience: This is a sandy beach next to a street. The only really good and reasonably priced restaurant is Los Molinos, almost opposite the windmill. They serve good fish and meat dishes as well as salads and desserts. Near the windmill, there is a good churrería. Other bars and small restaurants are okay. The Indian restaurant offers vegetarian food. In the corner of the sandy beach, there is a good playground for children. You can walk or bike from the windmill to the dune beaches by the outer sea. On the left, there are clay baths and salt ponds, and on the right, the Mar Menor lagoon with steps leading down for easy swimming. Small jellyfish do not sting and are not a problem. You can reach the nature park, the marina, and the dune beaches by car through another route.

Positive experience: A very pleasant beach, with a recently renovated promenade that finally has a bike lane. As its name indicates, it is a beach where the water barely covers. With my 1.6 m, I have not stopped being on tiptoes even in the deepest part. Its old boat mooring, the submerged boat, and the mill at the entrance to the salt flats at its end have charm. You can also access the sea from there to carry out various water sports. It is mainly frequented by children and elderly people and has access for wheelchairs. Where the houses begin, there used to be dunes and pines, hence part of the town's name.
