Solsida Beach
Information
Platja de la Solsida is a beautiful and tranquil beach, perfect for relaxation and enjoying nature. It is recommended for those with pets, and the waters are ideal for snorkeling, with crystal clear waters and a rich marine life. However, visitors should be aware of a few drawbacks:
- Parking can be difficult and the beach is not easily accessible for people with reduced mobility.
- The sandy area is quite small and often covered with pebbles and dry seaweed, making entry to the sea challenging.
- Some parts of the beach are designated for nudism, which may not suit everyone.
- The beach can become dirty and cluttered with seaweed, impacting the swimming experience.
- Despite its beauty, the beach lacks adequate facilities and can get unpleasant smells in the afternoons.
Overall, while it offers a serene atmosphere and lovely views, some improvements in cleanliness and facilities would enhance visitor enjoyment.

Positive experience: Recommended for pets, it's hard to park and not accessible for people with reduced mobility.
Negative experience: Very dirty beach, full of seaweed and not recommended for sunbathing. The level of seaweed is excessive, a real disgust. And it's impossible to swim, a lot of rocks and difficult access to get in and out.
Negative experience: Maps, when searching for this beach, takes you to the nautical club and if you are not a member you cannot access.
Fantastic experience: Small beach with not easy access and instead of sand, there were dry seaweed leaves.
Fantastic experience: Beach with crystal clear waters. Ideal for diving and snorkeling. There is an island 200 meters away swimming very close. While diving, you can find cormorants and mountains of Posidonia oceanica. It has a lifeguard during the summer season. Beware, dogs are prohibited. There are several signs at the entrance indicating caution because if you go with a dog, you will be fined. Very close, after passing the port, there is a dog-friendly beach.

Negative experience: The positive aspect was that the water was clean and clear. The beach was full of seaweed and you must/should wear shoes to go into the water as it is not a sandy beach but a stony beach.
Positive experience: If it weren't for the seaweed, it would be great. It should be noted that it is a rocky beach.
Positive experience: It's a very quiet beach, there is only a small area for children and the ground is mostly stones and dried seaweed. Still, it's a place where swimming is worth it because of its seabed. The other part of the beach is a nudist area.

WE LOVE PLAYAS CAN

Fantastic experience: Very quiet beach, with a lifeguard, very important since usually there is no lifeguard in such a pristine place and here there is. We love it ☺️. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Muy descuidada, aspecto lamentable .

Solsida Beach: Reviews
Negative experience: The positive aspect was that the water was clean and clear. The beach was full of seaweed and you must/should wear shoes to go into the water as it is not a sandy beach but a stony beach.
Positive experience: Charming beach where you can bathe and sunbathe nude.
Negative experience: Another naturist beach listed but invaded by textiles. With all the textile beaches, I don't understand where the naturists are or if they are just thieves. You will never see naturists walking on a textile beach, but the opposite is common. It's disappointing.
Negative experience: It looks made of trash
Negative experience: We were here at the nude beach and wanted to enjoy the sea a bit - NEVER AGAIN. The beach is full of dead seagrass. You can tolerate that since it's a natural beach. Unfortunately, the peeping Toms were unbearable - simply disgusting. However, the climax was a man who openly started to masturbate next to us on the slope in the dunes. He only stopped when I threatened him violently. We quickly packed our things and left. Unbelievable what is happening there. My wife later told me that she had seen another man near us who was also 'playing' with himself. Good thing she told me later. I wouldn't have guaranteed anything if I had seen that too.
Fantastic experience: Lovely naturist beach, nice and quiet, do take water shoes for when you go into the sea
Fantastic experience: We slept there in a caravan and it is a quiet place
Fantastic experience: A marvelous place
Positive experience: If it weren't for the seaweed, it would be great. It should be noted that it is a rocky beach.

Positive experience: Quieter than other beaches
Negative experience: pure algae
Negative experience: Dirty beach. You lie on dry grass that has been washed ashore. Very narrow. The water is dirty. If you lift your head up - it's beautiful. As a beach - I do not recommend. Half of the beach is for nudists.
Negative experience: We were there twice, the first time was great, there were almost no people. (5 stars) The second time was no pleasure, except for the man who shamelessly played with himself. Disgusting guy.
Fantastic experience: Calm and very pleasant
Negative experience: Dirty beach
Positive experience: Unfortunately, a poor surface at the beach
Positive experience: Not particularly suitable for children, a narrow coastline, but gorgeous nature and sea.
Positive experience: It has a lot of seaweed
Negative experience: I do not recommend it, it has good views but it is all full of seaweed and you cannot enjoy swimming.
Fantastic experience: Very comfortable
Fantastic experience: Very quiet beach
Negative experience: Maps, when searching for this beach, takes you to the nautical club and if you are not a member you cannot access.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful nudist beach
Fantastic experience: very calm, few people, ideal for nude bathing
Fantastic experience: very relaxing intimate atmosphere
Negative experience: Full of rotting seaweed with insects, dangerous, smelly water. Just as its name suggests, you can sunbathe and catch HIV by swimming.

Positive experience: There are currently so many seaweeds on the beach that when you walk, you sink up to your mid-leg.
Fantastic experience: Small beach with not easy access and instead of sand, there were dry seaweed leaves.
Fantastic experience: Quiet beach for relaxing on. Seaweed beach so sometimes a bit dusty. Take beach shoes as a pebble walk to it and as you get in the sea. Families near the marina, few couples, then further up mostly nudists.
Fantastic experience: Beach with crystal clear waters. Ideal for diving and snorkeling. There is an island 200 meters away swimming very close. Negative experience: I was looking forward to revisiting this area for a walk but was disappointed. The views were still amazing but the area was very unkempt overall.
Fantastic experience: End of a lovely walk from Altea, accessed by the side of the river, 3 other walks available. If you want to make it a longer walk the start at Albir.
Positive experience: Great for sunbathing, not so good for getting in the sea. The entire beach is covered with what looks like washed up leaves or seaweed, it gets everywhere!!!
Fantastic experience: Nice area especially when out at sea on the jet ski
Positive experience: The beach is calm and clean. Full of seaweed and small rocks, so not for those who like sandy beaches.
