Balarés Beach

Fantastic experience: Wonderful beach located in a unique environment. It has a large pine forest where you can eat at its stone tables. There are several free parking areas. The beach is divided into two parts by a large dune. It has very clean public toilets. In summer, there is a lifeguard service. This service has a chair for people with reduced mobility so they can use it and bathe with it. It also has a wooden walkway to facilitate access to the beach. However, it should be noted that the water temperature is quite cold.

Rodeada de pinares y situada al pie del Monte Branco, esta playa de arena blanca y aguas tranquilas ofrece un entorno perfecto para descansar, pasear o disfrutar en familia. Su forma de ensenada la protege del oleaje fuerte, lo que la hace ideal para bañarse con seguridad. Además de su belleza natural, el lugar tiene un valor histórico: en uno de sus extremos aún se conservan restos del embarcadero usado durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial para cargar wolframio. Esto le da un carácter único, donde se mezcla la tranquilidad del paisaje con la memoria de tiempos pasados. El acceso es sencillo, hay zonas de recreo con mesas y bancos, y un pequeño restaurante con terraza que completa la experiencia. Un sitio muy recomendable para pasar el día, desconectar y disfrutar de la Galicia más auténtica.
