San Antolin Beach
Information
San Antolin Beach is a breathtaking spot that offers a beautiful combination of rocky coastlines and fine sandy stretches, making it perfect for sunbathers and surfers alike. Visitors are charmed by the beach's wide expanse, clean surroundings, and excellent accessibility. The area is well-equipped with facilities, including surf schools, a chiringuito, and showers, making it a family-friendly destination. The beach also features a unique river mouth that can be explored during low tide.
Highlights:
- Stunning natural landscapes.
- Great surf conditions with surf schools available.
- Wide and clean sandy area ideal for families.
- Facilities including showers and food options at the chiringuito.
- Peaceful environment, perfect for long walks.
However, some visitors have pointed out issues such as an abundance of stones near the water’s edge, which can make access challenging, especially during high tide. Additionally, the parking lot fills up quickly, particularly in the summer months. While many praise the beach's beauty, they recommend visiting during low tide for the best experience.

Positive experience: Nice beach. Its a sand beach with mild waves, but (at least today) it wasnt permited to enter the water because of surfing classes. The life guards only let you enter the water until it was up to your knees or less. Otherwise, 10/10. There is a place to eat nearby and the parking isnt so far away. There is a decent ammout of sand and an ice-cream shop.
Positive experience: Open beach to enjoy the scenery, good access and well connected.
Fantastic experience: A beautiful beach. Besides what you see at first glance, if you go up a bit you'll see that it's the mouth of a river. It has a surf school, a beach bar that was closed today, and showers. Easy parking.
Fantastic experience: Very spacious beach, with fine white sand, easy access by car (although the parking is more crowded in summer). It has showers and a beach bar that serves food, surf school.
Positive experience: Beach that usually has waves. Easily accessible by car. Little sand and a lot of stones. With low tide, along the shore, you can reach the mouth of the river in less than 10 minutes. Generally a quiet beach and suitable for water sports due to the wind. Elevated viewpoint with parking areas and benches to rest and enjoy the view. A bumpy dirt road connects this beach with Gülpiyuri. Just over 2 km on foot. In fact, the signs indicate that the car should be left either at the viewpoint of San Antolin beach or next to it, to visit on foot without being fined up to Gülpiyuri.

Positive experience: A nice discovery in Asturias, as the rocks and distance from urban centers make the beach very pleasant, especially at low tide. It is one of the few beaches in Asturias where you can lie next to your dog without being fined and without a crazy person drawing your attention. The government's policy regarding dogs on beaches must be one of the most restrictive in Spain. Meanwhile, the drinking parties and their waste roam freely through beaches and parks.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful sandy beach large. Just outside of the motorway ample parking

Positive experience: Bonita playa relativo facil acceso.

No admite
Buenos chiringuitos y precioso paisaje. Me encantó!

Fantastic experience: The beach is very clean and the experience for surfing is very good.
Fantastic experience: Playa familiar, limpia.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach highly recommended for surfing. We did the coastal route from Cuevas del Mar, the trail near the beach was overgrown. Nearby is the Romanesque church of San Antolín de Bedón. The Bedón River flows into this beach.
Fantastic experience: My favorite beach, good waves for surfing, sometimes there's even no one around.
Positive experience: Despite the bad weather, a very beautiful area
Fantastic experience: a beautiful beach
Positive experience: Very beautiful beach between rocks, river that flows into it, great waves for surfing.
Fantastic experience: The impression of the beach is very positive! Beautiful nature, a beach with pleasant white sand mixed with round white stones, clean water. There is also a parking lot for cars, which can be accessed through a small tunnel under the railway track, as well as a café and a surf school. A wonderful place to relax and have positive experiences!
