Information

Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach, super spacious, easy parking, there are restaurants that look amazing, there is a river and mountains, you can even take a hiking trail that runs along the coast, ideal for spending a great beach day without a doubt.

Fantastic experience: The Libardón River flows into it. It's not very large and there are quite a few people, but it's very beautiful to spend a day there. There is a campsite nearby and there are good restaurants next to it. From there, you can visit some famous footprints through a dirt path that you can't miss.

Fantastic experience: Simply perfect. Several bays with sandy beach. Collecting stones. Incredible view of mountains in the background. The bays are located 200-300m from the steep coast directly on the Camino de Santiago.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful, cozy sandy beach, not too crowded. It is a little bit of a walk to get to the water in a low tide, but it's actually part of the charm. Parking can be a little scarce.

Fantastic experience: It is beautiful....there is plenty of free parking and if not, you can pay 4 E. You have a 20-minute walk to the dinosaur footprints with spectacular views. There are two restaurants that look great, with tables facing the sea...a lovely place to eat. The Jurassic museum is close by to take the kids.

Positive experience: La Griega Beach or La Cabaña del Mar, at the mouth of the meander of the Llibardón River or Colunga, near the locality of Colunga (Asturias). Coarse and golden sand. 820 m long and about 80 m wide. Strong waves. Natural pools form in the sand at low tide. Average, even low occupancy. Parking for about 100 vehicles. Restroom, showers, seasonal lifeguard, hospitality, and camping. Dinosaur footprints. Celebrations on the beach for the Loreto festivities (July).

Arena medianamente fina. Con aparcamiento gratuito y de pago

Pedro de Mendoza 3 years ago

Anurivic Lorenzo 4 years ago

Positive experience: Buena playa . Arena fina.

Fantastic experience: Very quiet and beautiful beach near Lastres. It has quite a spacious parking lot, there is a campsite, a couple of bars, and a route that goes around the cliffs leading to another beach called La Isla (because it has an island, we Asturians also weave). This beach is famous because it is known that dinosaurs walked here. Oh, there is also a monitored parking lot for a fee, but I didn't see it open.

Fantastic experience: For me, the most beautiful beach in the area and ideal for children. Clean with hotels and bars around and parking spaces. A river runs through the beach, which, thanks to being invaded by the sea at high tide, becomes an ideal area for swimming and playing for children of all ages. The lifeguard service is continuously attentive to its work. Good professionals and absolute dedication. The beach has a small path that leads into a wooded area, where dinosaur footprints can be seen with free access.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach in the east of Asturias. It can be accessed by highway, from Colunga or from Lastres. A wide sandy area crossed by a river. There are camping sites, restaurants, and tourist accommodations. There is a bridge that crosses the river, and you can access the other side of the beach and go hiking in search of dinosaur footprints. From the sandy area, Lastres can be seen. During high season, there is difficulty parking. Very close to the Dinosaur Museum.

Positive experience: This little playa is in secluded area near museo de Jurásico, It has basic facilities and beach is quite contrast to surrounding near by it has fine brown sand on one side and on the other lush green jungle growing on mountains, it seemed very less known beach around, however we did notice couple of hotels with limited rooms and 2 restaurants, one of the interesting fact about this beach is 90 Million years old fossil of Dinasours have been found here.

Facilities including a life guard, plus a cabin café, a campsite café and 2 restaurant/cafés. We ate at the Restaurante Vista Alegre and had a delicious seafood paella. The other diners dishes looked good too!

Fantastic experience: A really beautiful sandy beach within its own small bay. A river flows across the sand forming a great area for kids of all ages to play in, as the sea can be quite rough here. There are two restaurants and a burger / sandwich cafe bar overlooking the bay. There are parking areas close to the beach and a really good campsite ( camping Costa Verde) just 50 metres from the beach either side of the beach are beautiful hills for walkers to explore.
