Llevant Beach

Positive experience: Once it was stunning, now the excessive number of visitors has somewhat spoiled the beauty of the place. Trash on the accesses to the walkways, electronic cigarettes thrown on the beach and in the sea... not to mention traditional cigarette butts. What a shame.

Fantastic experience: We were at Platja de Llevant in Formentera yesterday. It's a truly beautiful beach with stunning views, but there are some things to keep in mind. First off, you pay €6 to enter the park, and you can only park where they tell you to, which for us meant a 30-minute walk through the sand with all our beach gear. It can be pretty inconvenient and exhausting. Also, we found the beach to be quite dirty. While this is partly due to the visitors, it's also the park's responsibility. They don't have enough trash bins, and the few that are there are not emptied frequently, so they're always overflowing.

Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches in the world... With its crystal clear water and white sand it is really amazing... It's so clear that you don't believe sometimes... It's big and you always have space for towels... In some places you can rent a bed and umbrella... You can come there from the port by car, motorcycle, or bike... Everything you can rent... The best thing in my opinion is the bicycle... You must pay for parking in front of the beach... If you are hungry, there is one big exclusive restaurant to eat or drink something... Many people prefer to bring their drinks and food to the beach... There is no place to hide from the sunshine... I have been going there for 10 years in a row and it's really relaxing and beautiful... All recommendations for visiting with a girlfriend or friends and taking some nice pictures and videos if you are in Formentera or Ibiza.

Fantastic experience: Naturist beach. Spectacular and very clean (not like Ses Illetes). Very uncrowded. Parking 5€ car.

Fantastic experience: Another great clean beach next to illetes,difference is that it’s closer to town which means more people and easier to acces but also there you can find a couple of chiringuitos.

Fantastic experience: Such a beautiful beach. White sandy beaches. Turquoise colored waters. Not too much waves. Ideal for families with small children.

Fantastic experience: Splendente e Selvaggia, Playa Levante Una delle spiagge più belle, lunghe e meno affollate di Formentera, il mio rifugio sicuro in questi giorni in cui il vento fortissimo ha colpito l’isola. La sabbia bianca e finissima (e in alcune spiaggette di un rosa acceso brillante), le dune attraversate dalle passerelle ma soprattutto l’acqua cristallina, dai fondali trasparenti e incredibilmente calma mi hanno attratta ogni giorno come una calamita. Perché Formentera è così: nonostante il vento, offre sempre un porto sicuro, e anche più di uno dove passare una giornata a tuffarsi in acque calmissime. Levante e’ una spiaggia per tutte le esigenze: ci sono piccoli lidi o lettini a noleggio o ci si può mettere con un telo sulla riva, quasi nell’acqua; ci sono kioski e chiringuitos per gustare paella e sangria o scogli in bella vista dove mangiare panini e frutta presi al super mercato; si può restare spiaggiati per ore o passeggiare sotto il sole fino alla fine della penisola di Es Trucadors. E’ una spiaggia tra le più autentiche dell’isola - qui trovate anche un po’ di naturisti - dove immergersi nella natura selvaggia di Formentera.

Positive experience: Enorme playa natural Playa bien conservada rodeada por zonas de dunas y, un poco más alejadas, de pino y sabina. Accesible en coche (previo pago: turismos 6 euros en septiembre 2020) y con varias zonas de aparcamiento que tienen nombres de fauna marina o de motivos playeros (nosotros aparcamos en la zona llamada "Tanga") Cuenta con chiringuito, servicio de alquiler de hamaca/sombrilla y puesto de socorro, así como separación de zona bañista mediante boyas (en la zona que estuvimos no había fondeado ningún barco y apenas pasaron un par de ellos en toda una mañana) La playa es muy larga, de modo que es fácil encontrar un hueco sin demasiadas apreturas.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, bigger than the others and less crowded. The day I went there were many waves, but the water was really beautiful. If there is a lot of wind from the east side, you can cross over and go to the side of Sea Iletes which is like a pool. That's the best thing about this place, that if there is too much wind on one side, you can cross in 5 minutes to the other side. The only thing that stands out to me is that people don’t take their trash when they leave, they leave cigarette butts, bottle caps, plastic bags. I thought that coming to Europe this wouldn't happen, and it is much worse than in my country.

Positive experience: Very beautiful, unlike Illetes beach, there are waves. But the water is also beautiful, always crystal clear with beautiful fish and especially not many people on the beach!

Positive experience: Known as the surfers' beach! Nice water and a good sandy area!
