Fantastic experience: The most beautiful beach of all the Balearic Islands. It's a small cove and not easy to reach: I recommend going early in the morning with a packed lunch because it gets crowded quickly.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful beach, difficult to reach, but it's worth it. I recommend parking at the kiosk nearby and walking from the cliff down the stairs with the famous rope. The sea is amazing but the beach is very small.

Fantastic experience: Spectacular cove but very small, so you might only find a spot on the fairly flat rocks to stay. The cove is always packed with fish (mainly bogue); if you bring some bread, you will practically be immersed in an aquarium. You walk from Es Cupiná, always following a rocky path parallel to the sea. Be careful when descending on the iron spikes left where there are no steps, and with flip-flops, your foot can slip... so either go barefoot or wear sneakers or water shoes. In high season, until the end of September, there is almost always someone making good mojitos, even non-alcoholic ones; for the rest, bring water and food.

Fantastic experience: It's small and complicated to access. But it's beautiful and there are many fish that you can see with just a simple pair of snorkeling goggles.

Positive experience: Stunning cove south of Formentera, a glimpse of paradise, crystal clear water with lots of fish to admire. It's a shame that since it's small it fills up quickly and you can't enjoy the right relaxation. To get there, there is a steep and rugged staircase.

Positive experience: Very small, barely 20 people can fit in tightly, the access is dangerous, there are certainly many prettier spots in Formentera.

Fantastic experience: You have to park at the hotel that is there, then walk to the place, it is not accessible for people with reduced mobility or those who are not agile, you have to go down to the cove with a rope, for me it is my favorite beach for snorkeling, although be careful because some fish nip at you haha.

Fantastic experience: The place is truly beautiful. Crystal clear waters and a great spot for diving. I recommend parking next to the Riu Hotel and then walking. The cove is crowded. If you want to have a spot, I recommend arriving before 09:30 during the season. Both the descent and ascent to the cove can be somewhat tricky if you don't have balance.

Fantastic experience: The best Cove on the Island, it is an oasis, I recommend bringing a mask to see the fish, I have also seen octopuses and exotic crabs.

Fantastic experience: This place is a wonder, but now access is forbidden. When we arrived, there was a sign saying it was prohibited to go down due to the risk of landslides, and people didn’t care; they had knocked down the net and went down to swim. I find it disrespectful and illogical when it’s done for our safety. Please, let’s respect this, respect the cove, and collaborate in its care as a natural paradise. If you’re going to travel, respect the signs and don’t forget it’s for your safety.

Fantastic experience: Idyllic place at the first and last hour of the day

Negative experience: On July 26, 2024, Calo Des Mort is closed due to safety reasons. You can see this only when you come to the last road you need to take to get to this beach. To find this place on Google Maps, you need to type Hotel Riu La Mola and then there is a road just straight ahead. It is forbidden to park any vehicle on that road. We parked on the street before this hotel and then started our 13-minute walk. It is a shame they didn’t put the sign somewhere earlier that the beach is closed so we don’t have to walk all the way. But even if you manage to get to this ‘beach’, I’m not sure what is pretty here. It is very small, full of stones, with very little space for a swim. I just don’t think this beach is worth visiting at all.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful cove to visit. To get there you have to park your car or scooter about 10 minutes away on foot. (You can't park near the cove) but it's just a short walk. (It's worth it) you arrive at a breathtaking view and from there you go down among the rocks (if you have flip-flops, take it easy) once down, there are small coves where you can choose where to settle. Spectacular water and colors. Definitely recommended.

Fantastic experience: April 2024: one of the most beautiful in Formentera (when the wind is coming from the opposite direction), you park on the road where it is (Platja des Copinyar) and then there is a path above for about 10 minutes, or along the coast which is tougher. When you arrive, you go down but with effort (there is a rope anyway), the small beach is very sheltered even in case of wind, the water is super crystal clear and clean. The beach also has nudists; we have been there both with a so-so sky and with a nice sun and wind.

Fantastic experience: Awesome private beach (we went in April so not too many tourists). Rather steep and a bit of climbing to get there but nothing undoable. We followed directions from somebody else following a path but we walked back along the coastline.

Positive experience: Pretty little cove near Bartolo's beach bar. You can definitely explore it with flip-flops, but comfortable shoes are recommended.

Fantastic experience: Small beach/rocky area, with crystal clear water, very beautiful, a bit inconvenient if you are on the rocks, depending on the flow of people there is, if you want there is a sandy part for those who do not want to stay on the rocks... it is reached by walking but you have to take a dirt road for about 20 minutes, you cannot go by car or scooter.. (there are some parking lots near the hotel) to reach the beach once you have taken the dirt road there is a slope that takes you directly there.

It is a perfect place to watch the sunset, the waiters are super nice, you just have to avoid the oldest waiter or not order at the bar to avoid being offended, as he has quite unpleasant comments. Fantastic experience: This small cove has become one of the most famous in Formentera for its beauty and tranquility. However, in the middle of summer, the large influx will make this place not exactly a haven of peace, and another aspect to consider is the access, which is somewhat complicated.

The fisherman's cottages look very nice and the marine life I saw while snorkeling was amazing. There are no shadows.

To access it, you need to wear appropriate footwear as there is a steep slope to go down. Crystal clear turquoise waters and super transparent white sand. It's a tiny cove. I recommend going early because it fills up quickly and then it’s quite complicated. To reach this cove, you have to walk a bit, but it's totally worth it.

Crystal-clear water, zero jellyfish, if you like snorkeling you will enjoy because you see thousands of fish among the rocks, incredible atmosphere. There are many Italian tourists because you have the Riu hotel behind.

However, it is 0 accessible. You have to climb down the rocks to get to it. You cannot park nearby, you have to leave the car and walk about 10 minutes.

Fantastic experience: It's an amazing beach. Best to enter via Chiringuito Bartolo. Easier to walk across that way. Take the lower path and it is easier to get down to the beach. It is still very hard. Not suitable for elderly or kids. The old stairs look super dangerous, but there is a rope there. This is a quiet beach. Not suitable for bat and ball or noisy kids.

During my stay I used swimming away far to the main beach snorkeling around. Color of Water is fantastic.

Positive experience: The beach itself is extremely beautiful however because it is so small, it can get easily crowded. I definitely dont recommend this to anyone who has trouble walking, as the name should imply, the walk down is deadly. We had a fantastic time and were able to enjoy the beautiful water. Make sure you are able to bring some sort of umbrella, as there is very little shaded area.

Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach! You need to park at the begging of the street and walk untill there as you are not allowed to leave your car or motorcycle next to the beach. You still can go there to leave passangers but not allowed to park. Small street so if you coming in busy time be careful to face another car coming from other direction.

Positive experience: Small beach with great photo opportunities. You can walk to get to this location from the closest town or drive down the unpaved road. If driving be aware there is no parking along the route and limited spaces once at the beach.

Negative experience: It is a very beautiful spot, but unfortunately the secret is out and due to its tiny size, the Cala gets very busy from very early and for me it looses its charm. I rather go anywhere else on the island where Ill have space to at least put a towel down. Having said this, the water is beautiful and snorkeling good, and although this is a harsh rating, It is so crowded that i find it pointless to visit it.
