Positive experience: A place to escape and completely change the setting on the island. Almost reddish beach, extensive with close parking and a kiosk. A bit at the mercy of the sea, but it changes the landscape.

Negative experience: La playa muy bonita, pero los socorristas (a parte de traer sueltos a sus perros y estar allí mas a gusto que nadie) tratan a los discapacitados peor que a sus propios animales. Mi experiencia fue muy mala y la explico brevemente; Llegamos al lugar, de complejo acceso porque es una cala, hasta ahí todo bien. Mi padre con discapacidad obviamente no se puede meter al agua. Les pedimos amablemente a los señores socorrista que nos permitan colocar una toalla en una de las cuerdas de su toldo para que, al menos mi padre este a la sombra, ya que no somos de allí y habíamos gastado la mañana en llegar al lugar por una recomendación. La respuesta elegante de estos caballeros fue que “No, porque si nos dejaban a nosotros tendrían que dejarle a todo el mundo y que hay playas para discapacitados” Tal fue el borderio de esta gente que obviamente nos fuimos y ellos seguro que quedaron muy tranquilines al desentenderse. Decepcionante la verdad. La playa esta bien pero no es ni de lejos la cosa mas bonita de Menorca y como digo, me llevo muy mal sabor de boca de ese lugar, según ellos “virgen”.

Fantastic experience: Very unique beach, lovely soft red sand, quite busy, but gets less busy the further you walk, and if you keep walking to the second half of the beach, Ferragut, you can join the nudists and enjoy total freedom! You only live once!

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, crystal clear water and sand with a medium reddish color. The parking lot is quite large and you have to walk about 5 minutes to reach a staircase, go down about 80 steps and you arrive at the beach. The only 'bad' thing is that when you start eating or drinking something, the bees come to eat and drink with you.
Negative experience: Too many wasps on the sand... we turned back. It's a shame because the beach was beautiful!

Positive experience: One of the best coves in Menorca for landscape and wildlife. The parking lot is very large but completely unpaved, mainly consisting of red dirt and large stones, so be careful with your car tires. The beach is completely pleasant, but the presence of the beach bar in the parking lot should help you find something for lunch. The distance from the parking lot is about ten minutes on foot with little difficulty; however, it is preferable to wear shoes for stones or running shoes. The presence of bees on the beach was quite annoying.

Positive experience: Playa de aguas limpias y arena rubia, fácil y cercano aparcamiento, a pesar de haber gente encuentras sitio sin problemas donde colocar tu sombrilla. En el parking hay una especie de kiosko chiringuito.
Fantastic experience: Very quiet cove with red sand, beautiful sunset, and just 5 minutes walk from the parking. However, the path is made of stones and there is a wooden staircase to get down to the beach. Next to the parking, there is a beach bar and some restrooms.
Fantastic experience: The access to the beach from the parking lot is at most a 15-minute walk. The beach is very clean, although there are a few algae, but I guess they are common. It is shallow and has quite a bit of wave. There are no beach bars. What we didn't see was any lifeguard presence.

Positive experience: Schöne Bucht ...kurzer Weg vom Parkplatz. Nicht zu weit hinten an der Düne liegen in den Sommer Monaten auch wenn der Weg zum Wasser kurz scheint. Der Sand wird sehr heiß. Bitte bedenken bei Kindern. Die Bucht war durch die Rettungsschwimmer bewacht. Sauber leider hin und wieder Plastik im Meer als Treibgut. Der Mensch ist hier mehr als gefragt in seinem Verhalten.
Positive experience: Muy bonita, diferente totalmente a las playas del sur, más salvaje..el único inconveniente son las abejas, fue llegar y clavarnos el agujón así que cuidado sobretodo x los niños. Eso sí fácil acceso y hay socorrista por si viene la abeja reina y te deja tieso
Fantastic experience: Amazing beach and our favourite on the island. Rough sea with nice big waves (the day we went), lifeguards active on duty, plenty of space and beautiful environment. At the parking is a small shop for food, coffee and snacks. The walk to the beach is 5 minutes, with some great views. Beach requires some ability to walk, as it had steps and you need to cross some rocks. Beach is vast, which leaves a lot of space for many people and privacy. We really enjoyed the mix of naturists/nudists and clothed people; very relaxed environment and plenty of space.

Fantastic experience: We have now gotten used to it: even at this Minorcan beach you arrive at the usual well-organized parking lot, with plenty of space to leave the car, and there is also a small kiosk for drinks, ice creams, etc. The path to the beach is short, about 5 minutes, a bit uncomfortable if you do it with flip-flops, but little by little you manage. Fantastic experience: A beautiful beach—we watched the sunset from a rented boat and it was absolutely stunning. Personally, I prefer the southern part of the island with calas like Macarella, but the north is definitely worth visiting too, as the landscape is completely different and just as impressive in its own way

There is a very large parking area, going in the morning (11 am) in August we had no difficulty at all parking. As already mentioned several times, there are bees and wasps, but it is not impossible to stay on the beach or eat as mentioned in some reviews.

Fantastic experience: ¡Preciosa! Es una playa amplia que se une en el medio con la playa Ferragut. Hay bastante zona de aparcamiento, tienes que andar hasta las escaleras. Tiene un mirador muy bonito con un par de bancos donde poder almorzar y desde donde puedes ver a la gente surfear. Nosotros solo hemos visto una larga escalera para poder llegar a la playa.

Fantastic experience: Toller Sandstrand fernab der Ortschaften und wunderbar kombinierbar mit dem Leuchtturm, der über die Zugangsstraße auch erreichbar ist. Die See ist hier etwas rauer, was manchem Surfer einlädt, aber durch die Naturbelassenheit des Strandes und der kompletten Umgebung ein toller Ort zum Abschalten. Zudem wird der Strand von einem Lifeguard-Team überwacht. Ein Parkplatz mit kleiner Bar ist rund 5 Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Holztreppen weisen zudem den Weg zum Strand. Alles mit Kleinkindern machbar.
Fantastic experience: Muy linda playa de agua clara y arena Cobriza. Hay bañeros y un chiringito con WC en la entrada, al lado del parking. Muy linda para nadar, Paddle surf y snorkel.
Fantastic experience: Esta playa es preciosa. Fuimos a ver si encontrábamos una playa donde surfear alguna ola y, sin duda, mereció la pena. El agua está limpia y la playa parece sacada de una película. Está muy limpia y bien conservada. Hay un parking grande donde dejar el coche y después, hay que caminar 2 minutos hasta la playa. Hay una cala a la derecha y la playa está a la izquierda.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with orange sand, very nice landscapes and panoramic views. Long walk to get there but it's worth it. The sea is very calm for swimming, with few waves, and it's very enjoyable. Crystal clear water and the possibility of snorkeling. Also very spacious for walking along the beach.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful, stunning sand and sea colors. We saw several fish. Wasps are present on all beaches in Menorca, just be quick with food because they only seek that! The route to get there is short compared to other beaches. Recommended, Mars-like landscape, the ground is very iron-rich, beautiful to see.
Fantastic experience: Otra fantástica Playa del norte de la Isla. También conocida como la playa de barro o playa roja... Aunque por suerte ya no está permitido untarse el cuerpo con los tramos de arena roja. Dispone de parquing a escasos metros de la zona de baño. Con servicio de vigilante de seguridad. Recomendable seguir el camí de cavalls y visitar diversas calitas cercanas. .... Y recordar respetar la isla como reserva de la biosfera que es!!!

Desde el parking caminas unos 5-8 min y bajas unas escaleras de madera. Antes de las escaleras dispones de un mirador y una mesa de picnics de madera. Hay una intersección hacia la derecha hacia una cala mas pequeña y rocosa. Una vez bajas las escaleras es el paraíso. Agua cristalina, cubre poco para los pequeños al principio y hay un montón de peces. Hay socorrista. De ahi a Pregonda en kayak es una hora aproximadamente. Es una playa muy fácil para los pequeños y muy divertida para que vean muchos peces. No hay horario pero los dias que hemos ido sobre mediodía pasaba un señor vendiéndose fruta.

Fantastic experience: Incredible beach, stunning waters, and a wonderful atmosphere. I went on a recommendation and it seemed the best to me, but it looks like it's not always as beautiful as I saw it. From other acquaintances, it seems like it's not always as perfect as I was lucky enough to see it. I hope you have good luck.

Fantastic experience: Our favorite beach in Menorca! A fabulous rocky and wild landscape around the beach, clear water, sand, and space for everyone. There is a lifeguard station. From the parking lot, there isn't much walking to access the beach, but plan for comfortable shoes. A small staircase allows access to the beach. A must-do!

Fantastic experience: One of the nicest beaches in Menorca. Ideal for families with children but not only. Clean sand, gentle slope, crystal clear water, schools of fish by the rocks. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot to the beach. It's worth bringing a large amount of drinks because the bar is located by the parking lot.

Negative experience: Without a doubt one of the best beaches in Menorca, a must-visit. Beautiful red and golden sand with crystal clear and shallow water. Ideal for going with children, it’s about a five-minute walk from the parking (not recommended for strollers, uneven ground and stairs). Every time we pass through the island we come, and unfortunately today I have to lower my rating to one star because the problem with wasps is UNBEARABLE. People leaving the beach from early on because you can't even leave your towel without being hassled by 5 or 6 wasps... not even in the sea do they leave you alone. What a shame, the beach is a marvel.
Fantastic experience: Highly recommended at all levels (I went in the afternoon and it didn't even cost to park). The contrast between the clay, the orange sand, and the absolutely clear water takes you to the banks of the Nile. A must-visit.
Negative experience: This is the third year I visit this beach, always very beautiful, to spend half a day, because there are no services, but today the wasps started chasing me upon arrival (many). I saw people turning back as I was arriving, and I just read another review from today that said unbearable wasps. I do not recommend it for this summer (July-August 2024).

Fantastic experience: The beaches in the south of the island get all the hype. But this beach on the northern coast might be just as beautiful and unique. The surrounding area is very rocky and wild. The beach consists of two parts, cut in the middle by a rock formation in the water. This beach offers beautiful clear waters and an amazing sunset during summertime. We combined the beach with a visit to the light house, which is close. There is sufficient parking and in summer the small bar situated on the parking lot offers snacks and refreshments.

Fantastic experience: This review seems a little unjust, revealing a tranquil piece of perfection. One of a large handful of stunningly beautiful beaches on Menorca. Although there is a reasonable drive to the car park and long walk over a rough terrain and a steep hill, including steps to get to it it’s worth it.

Fantastic experience: Per me, considerato tutto, la più bella di quelle viste a Minorca. (torqueta, son saura, son bou, mitjana, algajarenz). Comoda da raggiungere, ha un ampio parcheggio, non era sovraffollata (infrasettimanale di fine giugno), dal parcheggio alla spiaggia brevissimo cammino. E soprattutto la cala è grande ma non troppo, acqua pulitissima senza poseidonia (mitjana puzzava per quanta ce n'era, e anche torqueta ne era "afflitta"... sicuramente è importante per l'ecosistema e va preservata in qualche modo, ma tra una invasione del genere ed eliminarla tutta sicuramente una via di mezzo si trova), colori stupendi che vanno dal bronzo al rame, non arrivano barconi di turisti a insozzare tutto come a torqueta e le altre famose. Un gioiello.

Fantastic experience: Secondo me una delle spiagge migliori...paesaggio " marziano" di terra rossa..poco affollata ( vi consiglio di andare fino in fondo alla spiaggia) ,mare cristallino. Possibilità di vedere scorci meravigliosi percorrendo la tappa del cami de cavals. Posteggio ampio con un piccolo bar.

Positive experience: Muy bonita, diferente totalmente a las playas del sur, más salvaje..el único inconveniente son las abejas, fue llegar y clavarnos el agujón así que cuidado sobretodo x los niños. Eso sí fácil acceso y hay socorrista por si viene la abeja reina y te deja tieso

Fantastic experience: Amazing beach and our favourite on the island. Rough sea with nice big waves (the day we went), lifeguards active on duty, plenty of space and beautiful environment. At the parking is a small shop for food, coffee and snacks. The walk to the beach is 5 minutes, with some great views. Beach requires some ability to walk, as it had steps and you need to cross some rocks. Beach is vast, which leaves a lot of space for many people and privacy. We really enjoyed the mix of naturists/nudists and clothed people; very relaxed environment and plenty of space.
Positive experience: Playa de aguas limpias y arena rubia, fácil y cercano aparcamiento, a pesar de haber gente encuentras sitio sin problemas donde colocar tu sombrilla. En el parking hay una especie de kiosko chiringuito.
Fantastic experience: Wunderschöne Bucht! Durch die Farbe der roten Felsen sieht die Landschaft sehr besonders aus! Das Wasser ist sehr klar! Wenig Algen. Vom Parkplatz aus läuft man circa 10 Minuten, der Spaziergang allein lohnt sich schon. Man wird mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht belohnt. Der Parkplatz ist um 11:30 Uhr fast voll gewesen. Und er ist sehr uneben mit vielen Löchern.

Fantastic experience: Northern cove of the island, about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot along a rocky path. The beach has a lifeguard station and many families with small children go there because the water is very calm and shallow. It's beautiful.
Fantastic experience: Very quiet cove with red sand, beautiful sunset, and just 5 minutes walk from the parking. However, the path is made of stones and there is a wooden staircase to get down to the beach. Next to the parking, there is a beach bar and some restrooms.

The sea is very calm for swimming, with few waves, and it's very enjoyable. Crystal clear water and the possibility of snorkeling. Also very spacious for walking along the beach.

Fantastic experience: A 10! Parking 10 minutes away, very quiet beach, some jellyfish but nothing compared to Cala Pregonda (completely full of jellyfish).
Positive experience: Nice beach to go with small children as it is spacious and has no depth. It has lifeguard service from May to the end of October.
Fantastic experience: Superb beach in the north of Menorca, my favorite. One side has a stretch of sand, the other is more rocky. Parking 5 minutes away which must be crowded in summer. Sunbathing session done in this first week of April 2024, in peace and under the sun.

Fantastic experience: Cavalleria beach is quite large and is close to one of the most spectacular lighthouses on the island. Access is easy and the parking is quite large. It has a beautiful contrast of colors with the sand, the sea, and the vegetation. There are signs indicating that mud baths are prohibited.

Fantastic experience: The access to the beach from the parking lot is at most a 15-minute walk. The beach is very clean, although there are a few algae, but I guess they are common. It is shallow and has quite a bit of wave. There are no beach bars. What we didn't see was any lifeguard presence.

Positive experience: The right wind is like a big pool surrounded by a red cliff. The sunset is also very beautiful. On the other hand, the easy access and the shallow water make it a preferred destination for families. So if you have the absurd idea of relaxing, it's best to go as far out as possible to avoid the 456,000 screaming children.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful, stunning sand and sea colors. We saw several fish. Wasps are present on all beaches in Menorca, just be quick with food because they only seek that! The route to get there is short compared to other beaches. Recommended, Mars-like landscape, the ground is very iron-rich, beautiful to see.
