Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach, with good parking and many waves if you practice surfing, no lifeguard and usually a red flag.
Fantastic experience: A paradise although it usually has a red flag and only surfers go in. Very few people and intense waves, perfect for watching for hours. Parking.
Fantastic experience: A paradise. You can get there walking from Laxe or by car, there is parking and an area with tables and a barbecue. Cold water :) Very quiet area. Part of the route around Laxe.
Positive experience: Almost wild beach, ideal for surfing and similar activities. Not very suitable for swimming, due to being open waters. Its sand is fine and white. The northeast wind is usually noticeable. There are no lifeguards or other services, just a large picnic area (in the sun) and a parking lot with capacity for quite a few vehicles. I recommend walking along the coast to the sandy area and the Traba lagoon, passing by the small cove of Arnado. The landscape is worth it.
Fantastic experience: Top beach with beautiful views on both sides and with very special guests... dolphins!! Those moments that you don't forget in life. Ample parking.

Fantastic experience: Playa salvaje. Bandera roja siempre que he ido. Ideal para surfistas y gente normal. Caballos, perros, ambiente sano y deportista.
Fantastic experience: Playa 100% onda surfera.

Volveremos a ir.
Fantastic experience: Praia de Soesto is a wild and spectacular corner of the Galician coast, perfect for those seeking natural beauty in its purest form. Located near Laxe, it is a wide beach surrounded by dunes and green hills that create an impressive landscape. What I like most about Soesto is its tranquil and uncrowded atmosphere, making it an ideal refuge to disconnect and enjoy the sound of the sea and the wind. Additionally, it is highly appreciated by surfers due to its powerful waves, although it is also perfect for long walks or simply relaxing on the fine sand. The feeling of freedom and connection with nature that one experiences here is unmatched. A must-visit place for lovers of unspoiled beaches and Galician landscapes.

Fantastic experience: Surfer's beach, rugged, wide, and beautiful. I don't think it has a lifeguard, or at least it didn't when I went.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful and wild beach, very good for water sports and fishing. It has a very complete recreational area with barbecues and trash containers, which keeps it very clean. There is ample parking but be careful of some potholes, just like the entire Costa da Morte or 'Millor do Mundo'.
Positive experience: Beautiful and typical beach of the Costa da Morte. Natural, almost wild, with no buildings around, extensive, with very light sand and clean water. Good waves for surfers due to the strong Atlantic winds. The only downside on the day we were there was the flies. There was a real plague of flies around the dried seaweed, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable and spoiled the moment.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach. No water and toilets limited without water. Great free camping.

Me encantó

Fantastic experience: Permanent red flag but absolute tranquility

Positive experience: August 1...Virgin beach practically empty, so no problem with dogs. Waves for surfing. The only downside is that there are many flies that are annoying.
Fantastic experience: A spectacular beach ❤️ My favorite beach on the Costa da Morte ✨️

Fantastic experience: Nice environment, good waves

Fantastic experience: Amazing typical beach of the Costa da Morte, a must-stop.
Positive experience: Visited in winter alone. You won't see many surfers at this beach due to the waves it has. It has quite a large parking lot, but it's true that in the summer months it's completely full of caravans. The beach is large and has fine sand with wooden walkways for access, although it doesn't have nearby services, as it is a wild beach. There is a picnic area and a playground. The lighthouse path runs here, and if you follow a section of it (marked on maps as Petón do Castro), you can enjoy beautiful views of the entire shore.

There is ample parking but be careful of some potholes, just like the entire Costa da Morte or 'Millor do Mundo'.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach!!!!
Fantastic experience: Wonderful and spectacular place for surfing and spending a few nights camping. I always come back.
Positive experience: Giant waves, no children.
Fantastic experience: Surfer's beach, rugged, wide, and beautiful. I don't think it has a lifeguard, or at least it didn't when I went.

Fantastic experience: Lots of space and BBQ facilities
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach. No water and toilets limited without water. Great free camping.
Positive experience: One of the most scenic beaches we have seen during our trip through Spain - and for the most part not yet overrun by tourists. Definitely good for surfing practice, on the other hand swimming might be difficult, maybe even dangerous, with the high waves.
