Fantastic experience: Fantastic little beach, just a few minutes from the Macarella beach. Macarella beach can be reached in 15-20 minutes from Cala Galdana depending on footwear, level of fitness and how hot it is. The path is like a dried up river bed, very uneven with lots of rocks and roots to avoid. Path from Macarella to Macaralleta is quite steep in places, with steps cut into the rock face. Wear good footwear. Had a sunrise dip here. As the bay is east facing it gets the morning sun first. Seabed is sandy and gently sloping. Super place for a dip (although something else swimming in the cove stung me!) so do be warned!
Fantastic experience: Amazing beautiful little beach! Not easy to get to if you’re not fully mobile (from our direction anyway) We parked about a kilometer away to the north in a large free car park! Walk down to a beach bar then access the first beach and up n over via a very uneven ground to get to the smaller beach! But it was soooo worth it! The water was cold but being British this didn’t bother us. I was able to climb the rocks and dive in a few times which was very fun The were jellyfish in the area ( on a few & mostly the safer ones but there was a couple pelagia noctiluca which can sting pretty bad) But it was all fine no issues! Great swimming and bathing! Got there early and it was almost empty but started to fill up quite a bit by 12ish we left around 1pm walked back to the bar restaurant on the next beach on to the car stopping for a pizza and a beer which was also pretty good! The kilometer walk back up hill to the car wasn’t too bad as it was shaded by the trees! The road however ( I am told closes in the hight is summer ) was very narrow and some drivers were a bit rubbish at slowing down and moving over!! Apparently there is a bus from the city I think which may suit some but not me! A moped would be great to get here I think best! Overall a really nice beach!
Fantastic experience: Incredibly Beautiful. Much more than in the pictures on the internet. The route from Cala Galdana to Cala Macarella and Macarelleta is super beautiful. In fact, halfway there you have a 'photocall' with a movie-like background.
Positive experience: Pleasantly beautiful and paradise-like beach, a victim of its success... Go very early in the morning or late in the evening, access from Cala GALDANA as parking is inaccessible.
Positive experience: Cala Macarelleta is a small jewel of crystal-clear waters and white sand, perfect for those looking for a paradise beach. However, due to its beauty, it tends to fill up quickly, which can make it difficult to find a quiet space to relax. Access requires a walk from Macarella, which, although pleasant, may not be ideal on hot days. Despite this, the views and the feeling of being in an almost untouched natural corner make the visit worthwhile, as long as you arrive early or outside of peak season.

Negative experience: Not worth the hype. Small, overcrowded, dirty water and nothing like the pictures that you find on the internet. Plus the way to get there is not for everyone, the soil has considerable unevenness and stones.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with a small area to relax, be careful when there are a lot of people! The sand is white and the water is very clear! Nestled between the rocks, it offers a particularly beautiful view of the open sea. From up high it is even more beautiful!

Fantastic experience: Superb beach! Beautiful beach with white sand and turquoise water, a true little paradise. It is easy to access, about 35 to 40 minutes of walking to get there, but it's really worth it!

Sovraffollata. Raggiungibile con un bellissimo sentiero. No infradito!

Fantastic experience: Stunning cove that can only be accessed by walking from Macarella.
Fantastic experience: Speechless
Fantastic experience: Beautiful cove!

Fantastic experience: Small and beautiful cove, the most secluded of the three (Galdana, Macarella, and Macarelleta). We accessed it via the path from Cala Macarella which offers magnificent views of the surroundings. You will enjoy the walk and you will enjoy the cove.

Fantastic experience: I thought it was the most spectacular beach in Menorca
Fantastic experience: Superb beach! Beautiful beach with white sand and turquoise water, a true little paradise. It is easy to access, about 35 to 40 minutes of walking to get there, but it's really worth it!
Fantastic experience: Beautiful cove
Fantastic experience: So worth the 30 min walk from Cala Galdana! The most beautiful coves.
Fantastic experience: My favorite beach in Menorca. Very difficult access with babies. Even so, we managed it!
Fantastic experience: An amazing cove, you have several options: either take bus 8.50 round trip to Cala Macarella and then a 10-minute trail, or park very early at Cala Turqueta before 7:30, which fills up, and walk about 1 hour, or park at Cala Galdana and walk for 40 minutes.
Fantastic experience: Our favorite! Getting to Macarelleta is magic. From above, you can already see its turquoise blues.
Positive experience: One of the most popular (but not the best) in Menorca, 5 minutes up from Macarella. It has very clear water in a beautiful setting surrounded by wild goats, however, arrive early because it gets crowded to the point where, in my opinion, it becomes uncomfortable and loses its charm. In my case, I arrived at 9 in the morning and we enjoyed a swim with 4 or 5 other people, but from 10:30/11 onwards it was a constant flow of people that ended in a small patch of sand completely occupied by towels. If you go to Menorca, I would recommend going (but early, better).
Fantastic experience: One of the best coves in Menorca. My recommendation: wake up early, arrive at 7:30 at the Cala Turqueta parking lot, and once there, head towards Macarelleta. In our case, when we arrived, there was only one family of three. That image of seeing a cove like this, empty, is unforgettable.
Fantastic experience: Magnificent cove. In my opinion, it's in the top 5 of the island.
Fantastic experience: One of the best coves I have seen, undoubtedly a beautiful place that you cannot leave without visiting if you come to Menorca. To get there you have to wake up early and it depends on the time of year you come, more or less, since the parking fills up very early. Right at that cove there is nothing to drink although 'Paco' comes in a boat offering beer, Coca-Cola, cocktails but of course at prices that are outrageous, haha! So I recommend that you bring your own drinks, you can also enjoy beautiful views and pure nature with goats next to the beach... undoubtedly 10/10
Fantastic experience: Very nice. It's about a 15-minute walk from the parking to the cove.
Positive experience: Amazing water, but not enough space for so many people. At 10:30 it looked like this. The Camí de Cavalls crosses it towards Turqueta, which is much more recommendable since there is more space and the water is just as amazing.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, one of the prettiest on the island. If you just want to see this beach, it's best to go there in the afternoon when the parking at Cala Macarella is available.
Fantastic experience: A beach with a lot of charm. To get there, you have to walk along an accessible path for about 40 minutes. It's definitely worth going, early in the morning there are fewer people, so it's worth waking up early, taking the little walk with some coolness, and arriving at the cove when the sun is shining more.
Fantastic experience: It's perfect. It's not easy to access, you have to walk uphill along a rocky path, some of which are slippery, with fallen branches, and then you have to go down to the beach, but it's totally worth it since it is peaceful, with super clear and pleasant water, delicious sand. Also, the views during the walk are spectacular. Be careful because there were people who were completely nude.
