Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with direct access from the superb camping Tamarit Beach Resort.
Positive experience: The beach is quite nice and has a really cool castle. The water is crystal clear and it’s great for swimming. The water temperature is very good in August. Plus, we can access the beach directly through a door in the campsite where we are staying, Tamarit Beach Resort.

Fantastic experience: Typical beach of the Tarragona coast, fine sand, with a flat and shallow shore, ideal for children and also for elderly people to play and bathe. Very clean and clear waters with a lifeguard service from the Red Cross. Highly recommendable.

Fantastic experience: Wunderschön, sind nun schon mehrmals Hier gewesen. Gute, saubere Sanitäranlagen. Camperplätze schön gross und eben. Sandstrand und Meer sauber. Gutes und schönes Restaurant Brisa. Tolle Aussicht auf den Landsitz/Schloss Tamarit. Wir kommen wieder.
Fantastic experience: La playa es preciosa agua cristalina y arena fina y clarita ..con restaurante, vigilancia ,camping cercano . Donde puedes aparcar vehículo ya que dispone de parking de pago . Y estas a 5 minutos caminando.

Fantastic experience: Bonita playa con vistas espectaculares del castillo; la arena es fina dorada y sus aguas normalmente están tranquilas y limpias. Conecta con la playa de la Altafulla pasando el río Gayá. Suele estar un poco masificada porque se encuentran los campings alrededor con accesos directos. Cuenta con todos los servicios como socorrista, duchas y baños públicos.
Fantastic experience: [Julho 2021] Fomos em família com crianças em um domingo à tarde. Havia bastante gente mas o ambiente era bem agradável. Há um parking público (pago) há uns 300m da praia e o caminho ate lá passa pela grande área de camping. Tamarit é uma praia de bandeira azul, com toda beleza e serviços disponíveis (chuveiros, wc, chiringuitos, segurança...). Com uma boa faixa de areia branca e fina e mar azul, é ideal para ir em família. O cenário ao por do sol é de puro encanto, com o castelo dominando a paisagem junto ao mar, realmente único. Do outro lado do castelo há a Cala Jovera, que vale também conhecer.

Hay que tener en cuenta que el aparcamiento de esta playa se encuentra al término de Altafulla, detrás de la estación de tren. Es la playa más septentrional del municipio y se caracteriza por su proximidad al espacio natural de interés PEIN – Riu Gaià, co-gestionado por la entidad Asociación Medioambiental La Noria, de un gran valor ecológico y paisajístico. Si se va en autobús, es bueno saber que el bus tiene su parada al principio del camino del castillo de Tamarit y hasta la playa se tiene que andar un kilómetro aproximadamente. Negative experience: Drapeau rouge ??? Évaluation du risque mauvaise Croix rouge locale incompétente. Ils signalent un danger et ils restent assis tranquillement. Beaucoup de mégots de cigarettes au sol. Niveau baignade très peu de poissons par rapport à certaines plages proches. Aucune vagues surfable Décevant par rapport à certaines plages proches de Tarragone

Fantastic experience: Maravillosa y espectacular playa que en temporada alta se pone a tope pero que siempre se puede visitar en otros meses o a primera hora del día. Aguas impecables y parking al lado. Puestos de socorro, duchas y todos los servicios al alcance. Puedes alquilar kayaks y palas de padel. Preciosas vistas del castillo de Tamarit. De las mejores playas de la Costa Dorada. Recomendamos el Snack bar del Brisa para tomar una cerveza y un aperitivo después de la 13. Antes no sirven cosas de cocina, solo chips y olivas, pero también es una opción.

Positive experience: It's a shame because the beach is beautiful but it's overcrowded with people from the campsites and you have to pay for parking because even motorcycles can't park. While you get to the beach, it's like a residential area but with campsites and they have this 'private' beach.

Positive experience: Conveniently located campsite in the higher price range. Beautiful spots, neat sanitation, it's a shame that the shower experience is negative because the water was not adjustable, sometimes too hot and sometimes cold. They do have a beautiful swimming pool.
Positive experience: You have to go behind the castle, along the Tamara campsite and turn right (on foot). Go behind the castle and walk down to a small cove. (You need good shoes and walking sticks if you are prone to vertigo.)

Positive experience: Crowded beach due to camping people. As a beach, it is beautiful, which is why movies, series, and commercials have been filmed here. In some reviews, they talk about the next beach, but I will tell you that years ago it was connected, and you could walk to it. The construction of the stalls has changed the tides, and land has been lost to the sea. Surely in a few years, if nothing is done, it will end up reducing the sand. The most beautiful thing for me is the mouth of the Gaia River.

Positive experience: Really good beach, with clear water and small waves. The beach is not protected, so I would suggest to avoid it during windy days, where it would be best to go to Jovera or more protected beaches. It is perfect for kids and family, and during the summer period when it gets really crowded, you can always find a spot away from the crowd as it is very long. One of the perfect sports in my opinion is right after the Gaia River mouth, direction Altafulla Beach. It is usually calm, without big crowds, and you can still enjoy of the beautiful place looking at Tamarit castle.

Fantastic experience: It's really nice, the pool is quite cool but that doesn't really matter when its really warm outside. The pool isn't that deep and theres a lovely little water park next to it for kids, theres an open top slide for younger children and a bigger closed top slide for older kids, there are no restrictions on the slides so it's up to you as to what you let your kids do. There is a bar near by with over head cover, the lounge chairs are ok, slightly dirty but they would be, and the toilets are nice. There is a really really shallow bit in the pool for small toddlers and another toddler play bit away from the pool. It is wheelchair accessible. The resort on whole is really nice.
