Negative experience: The beach is nice but there are no public restrooms on the beach or along the promenade. If you really have to go, you just have to head to the hotel or a restaurant. It's a shame that such a beautiful and large city can't provide a few restrooms.
Fantastic experience: Less crowded than the north beach. Very well maintained, at night they wet and level the sand so it doesn't burn. Ideal for children, many meters of beach with minimal depth, very light waves, and fine sand without stones. The beach was clean, it had no algae or debris. Parking is very close at 6.50 euros for the full day and many restaurants, ice cream shops, tapas, etc., along the same promenade.

Positive experience: Nice beach with easy parking, although there is a blue zone.
Positive experience: The best place to park in Peñíscola, to go up to the Castle and then walk to the other beach from there, because this one is neglected and dirty. If you like to walk without getting exhausted, you leave your car there in the Blue Zone for €3.50, and you have time to explore the old town and Playa Norte, have lunch, and come back.

Positive experience: Seichter Strand, man braucht wahrscheinlich hundert Meter bis man tief im Wasser ist, also für Kinder super. Durch das Seichte Wasser auch gleich wärmer als der Nordstrand. Wer sich wundert, warum die Einheimischen hier nicht baden: Erst seit wenigen Jahren gibt es eine Kläranlage im Ort und man sagt, diese ist gerne auch mal überfordert im Sommer durch die vielen Hotels. Daher wird das Baden hier eher den unwissenden Touristen überlassen. Trotzdem, toller Sand und Strand mit schönem Blick auf die Burf und Altstadt. Im Sommer gibt es open air Kino. Spielplätze und Cafes genau gegenüber der Strasse. Parkplaetze im Winter kostenlos.
Negative experience: La cercanía al puerto hace que no sea una playa muy limpia. La mayor ventaja son las múltiples atracciones que hay cerca.
Negative experience: Hay mucha gente, y falta perros, un paraje tan natural y prohibir la naturaleza de un perro muy absurdo.
Positive experience: Playa de agua tranquila y que se hunde lentamente. Ideal para los niños. Lastima de los yates y motos acuáticas que hacen que todo apeste a gasoil.

La arena es muy fina, hay un chiringuito en la playa, el aparcamiento está muy cerca y tiene algunos barquitos para las familias. Cuenta con baños y duchas con agua dulce para salir limpios. Fantastic experience: El puesto de hamacas y toldos vienen muy bien, aunque un poco caro. Que no cubra casi en el agua; viene muy bien para la gente mayor. Además se guardan las distancias seguridad; muy agusto, mucho mejor aquí que en la playa norte a la altura Peñismar. Es mi humilde opinión

Positive experience: Amplia playa para poder pasear y con los monos jugar. Arena fina y clara. El mar transparente y poco revuelto. No le doy la quinta estrella ya que echó en falta más puestos y torrecillas de socorristas para lo larga que es la playa.
Fantastic experience: Playa tranquila para venir solo o en familia, no cubre mucho y no hay oleaje, por ahora la gente respeta las normas de seguridad, no hay aglomeraciones y puedes elegir el sitio para poner las cosas sin molestar a la gente de alrededor, también se pueden alquilar barcas a pedales para disfrutar un poco más de la playa, también existen a escasos 100 metros, bares y cafeterías con terraza para poder tomar algo si aprieta el calor.

Positive experience: The beach has wet sand that sticks to the towel, the water is warm and feels like a pool, to get covered you have to walk quite a bit, generally a quiet beach, the downside is that the restrooms available are only for disabled people, the others have no right to use them.

Positive experience: Una playa muy limpia y poco profunda, ideal para ir con los peques, además, se pueden ver bancos de peces, lo que lo hace más divertido para los enanos. El único problema que vi, es que en la última entrada, las fuentes para limpiar pies no funcionaban.

Fantastic experience: Very nice beach with a view on the castle and the medieval city
Fantastic experience: Excellent beach, spacious and great views. Ideal weather in mid-October. A lot of wind, but it's worth enjoying this corner of Peñíscola.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful place for entire families. The beach is fantastic. It connects Peníscola with Benicarló. 6 km. The castle is amazing. Surrounded by townhouses, mini streets, and shops with cafes. I highly recommend it.

Positive experience: It is an ideal beach to go with kids. It is a saltwater pool. It is a beach where you have to walk a lot for it to cover, and there are hardly any waves. Personally, I would like it to be less warm. If you want a beach with more freshness (and waves), right next door there is a cove. The north beach, a short walk away, is more open, with many more waves and cooler.

Fantastic experience: It is the less crowded beach of the locality compared to its namesake in the north, with a length of about 850 meters, stretching from the fishing port to the breakwater that separates it from the beach of the Widows. A beach with calm waters due to the wall formed by the breakwater, it is very wide with fine golden sand, and it is well connected and equipped, ideal for families and children. In the surroundings, we find numerous restaurants where we can taste fresh local fish. It is one of my favorite places; every time I go, I visit this beach and we enjoy seafood at the Retired Home Bar, which is always very busy.
Fantastic experience: very clean beach, with a very gentle slope. At the end of the season (early October) and early in the morning, the place is ideal for walking and swimming with the dog. Nice encounters, respectful of other users of the sites. It wouldn't be possible on the north beach.

Fantastic experience: Peñíscola is one of my favorite places, a beautiful town full of atmosphere, huge and well-kept beaches. Specifically, I like this one because it is calmer in terms of waves, and it is much better for children.

Fantastic experience: Very nice beach section. Highly recommended for families with children. Shallow water. Several meters knee-deep. No extreme waves. Prices at the bar are okay: cold coffee €4.20, beer €4.50. Restrooms available for free at the bar. There is a restroom on the beach for a fee, showers are also available. Unfortunately, the toilet is very dirty. Menu: burger, fries with drink €6.50 available on the main road. Parking options available for a fee. We are open here at the beach. Recommended.
