Morrongo Beach

Information

Platja del Morrongo is a popular beach located in Benicarló, known for its fine sand and clear waters. It offers a family-friendly environment with shallow waters that are great for children, and it is accessible for individuals with reduced mobility. The beach is surrounded by a variety of bars and restaurants, providing convenient options for refreshments.

Visitors have praised the beach for being clean and well-maintained, making it an excellent spot for swimming and sunbathing. However, some users have reported that it can become overcrowded, especially in summer, making it challenging to find a quiet spot.

While many enjoyed the beauty of the natural surroundings, others highlighted the presence of pebbles and some areas of debris that can hinder access to the water. Additionally, experiences with the lifeguard staff have been mixed, with some users expressing concerns about professionalism.

Overall, Platja del Morrongo is a lovely location perfect for families, but visitors should be prepared for potential crowding and varying conditions on the beach.

Negative experience: Stone beach, you need to wear suitable footwear, it is very long and not many people go, easy to park. With a lifeguard in summer

Fantastic experience: One of the best beaches I've ever been to, it has very fine sand and there are no stones, it's all sand on the beach and in the water. You can go in 100 meters and the water covers you up to your chest. It's very calm with few waves. Also, next to it, there are a few bars where you can drink whatever you want or have a popsicle or slush.

Positive experience: Crystal clear water and few people, you need to bring water shoes because it's all large stones and it's hard to put the umbrella in.

Negative experience: The lifeguards are unprofessional and rude, they are from the Proactiva company and are sitting all day laughing and having a good time. They are poorly educated and very tired of the people who bring kayaks, it seems like we bother them, I don't know if I will come back.

Negative experience: Muy mal. No vuelvo jamás.
