Positive experience: Great beach with a good bar directly on the beach. Busy with a good atmosphere.

Negative experience: Quite small and crowded… 2 stars compared to many other beaches around the world but still enjoyable if you like living among crowds..

Fantastic experience: Nice sandy beach, big waves the day we were there but Lifeguards were on the ball. Limited if any sun loungers to rent and its a very busy beach. Toilets and a cafe bar available.

Fantastic experience: Playa de La Zenia is a beautiful, well-kept beach with soft, clean sand and crystal-clear water. The views are stunning, especially at sunset, and it’s a great spot to relax or take a walk along the shore. The beach is well-equipped too. there’s a convenient shower area to rinse off, which is a big plus. Perfect for a peaceful day by the sea!

Positive experience: We visited during sunset and we had a plesant walk. Unfortunately we did not spent too much time here because we got rainy days. I hope we will return to enjoy the sun and relaxation.

Fantastic experience: The most beautiful, cleanest, and coziest beach in Spain! Beach tent with very reasonable prices and super friendly staff, really a delight to sit there. The water is really super clean, making it great for snorkeling and seeing many beautiful fish and rock formations. Free parking as well, what more could you want :)

Fantastic experience: I personally love it because it's clean, has red cross services, a beach bar, restrooms (they should add more), and a wooden walkway to better access the umbrella area. There are a lot of people, but it's nice and the sea usually has quite a bit of waves, which is what I like the most. There are restaurants nearby and there's usually parking. I hope to return soon.

Positive experience: 2024: 4 stars It’s running again... 2023: 0 stars No beach bar, no sunbeds with umbrellas. No pedal boat rental. The city of Orihuela has failed to grant concessions for all beaches. Shame on you! 2019: 5 stars Larger beach with plenty of space for sunbathing. Some rocky access to the sea. Playground and climbing spider available for children. Beach bar with a wide selection of drinks and food. Sunbeds and sun protection can be rented for an additional fee of €9 (Year 2019). Parking for cars is accessible nearby.

Fantastic experience: Good beach with very fine sand, there are no showers, only facial foot rinsers for access.

Fantastic experience: I went at night, a wonderful and magical experience. The view you have of the hotel is amazing, it's really cool! Calm waves, some seaweed and jellyfish but they are not a problem. I recommend it.

Negative experience: Worst beach ever, the lifeguards won't even let you swim because there are 2 or 3 waves. They will push you back constantly until you are completely out of the water, and instead of talking, they threaten to call the police. If a beach is for staying on the sand, just close the beach at that point.

Positive experience: Wonderful sandy beach. However, the entrance to the sea is uneven in places, with pits washed out by the waves, and you need to move carefully to avoid hurting yourself. Combined with the waves, it looks unsafe.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with service, a beach bar, and a restaurant. The sand is fine, white, and there is plenty of space. There is a wooden walkway on the beach allowing wheelchair users to access the beach. From this beach, a wonderful promenade starts, leading to other beautiful beaches through spectacular cliffs and a panoramic view of the sea. You can walk for kilometers and return through the residential area.

Positive experience: It's a good beach to go with children, both for its sand and water, as well as for a pool that forms. Also, there is a restaurant nearby. It's true that a lot of people go during the weekends; there can be 8/9 rows of umbrellas. But it has good width. You can always move to Captain's Cove, which is just a few minutes' walk away.

Fantastic experience: A nice place! The beach is gentle and shallow. You have to walk about 5 meters into the sea to dive. The sand is very clean and soft. Kids happily build towers here. There are quite a few people.

Negative experience: I have a house in La Zenia for 35 years. The truth is that it could be much better if there wasn't so much garbage and dirt on the streets. The sidewalks are all uneven and they do nothing to repair them, with the consequent danger this poses, and this has been going on for many years. I would like to know what the Town Hall does with the money it collects.

Positive experience: One of my favorite beaches and the sea is still quite warm considering that we are in October. I would have rated it a 5, but the cabins are closed, so I can only give it a 4. Hopefully, they will be open next year. There's always the Mirador restaurant if you want to have a drink or some food. Alternatively, bring your own, but take your trash home.
