Fantastic experience: Lovely beach , has a nice bar/ coffee shop aswell

Negative experience: I don’t get the high reviews on this beach, the sand looks and feels rough, not pleasant at all, the water is full of algae. Needs work.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful little beach with crystal clear water, gentle waves, and loads of fish. Wheelchair-friendly with a long boardwalk and water chairs! There are multiple showers to wash the sand off your feet, trash cans, and a cute little "chiringuito" to get a snack of a drink. There are rocky areas to explore, too, so throw in some shoes if you want to do some climbing! My toddler absolutely loved seeing all of the fish, especially when people fed them breadcrumbs. There is a also a lifeguard on duty. Like others have said, parking can be tricky, so definitely recommend arriving earlier rather than later.

Fantastic experience: This beach can definitely be recommended. It's not a huge beach, but the water is crystal clear, the rocks protect against waves, and there are good opportunities for diving and seeing fish. Very shallow water and a child-friendly beach on one side of the rock island in the middle. There is water to rinse off, toilets, and a nice beach bar where you can find shade and drinks, among other things. Good hiking trail along the coast if you feel like taking a walk. In my book, it's one of the best beaches on the coast. Here you have everything you need.

Fantastic experience: Great family friendly beach with lots of fishes that like to swim around you. Kids love it and so do the adults.

Positive experience: Very clean sandy beach with lifeguard service, foot showers and two rows of umbrellas. Beach bar with drinks and snacks. Very crowded on weekends and at lunchtime. The only downside is the lack of showers.

Positive experience: A classic. Family silver outside of the tourist vibe.

Negative experience: Overcrowded. And if there is a red flag (often raised for no reason), the lifeguards threaten to call the police just for getting your feet a little wet... what a pity compared to what that beach was a few years ago.

Negative experience: First of all, there are quite large jellyfish, and when you get out of the water and it's drying on your body, it has an unpleasant smell of pollution; I didn't stay long.

Positive experience: One of the best beaches in Orihuela. I go in the afternoon. Less crowd. Parking is difficult, very little parking available.

Fantastic experience: A paradise of our Mediterranean area. It is a very clean beach. There are hardly any rocks when you enter to swim, there are always people but it is comfortable to find a spot there, it has a beach bar, the water is usually clean and clear, so you find many fish around you and it is one of the most beautiful things to see. I recommend always going with diving goggles.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful cove with all services. There are many fish in the water, if you go with children and bring some bread, they come from afar.

Positive experience: A very spacious cove with the possibility of shaded and sunny areas. There is a beach bar to grab a refreshing drink, which is appreciated. I recommend watching the sunset at this beach. You can go snorkeling and climb on rocks.

Fantastic experience: Nice cove, generally clean and not much walking is required to get there. Ideal place to spend the day at the beach. If you bring bread to the sea, you can feed the little fish, they are very funny.

Positive experience: Wide and well-located beach, great for families with children and opportunities for people with disabilities to enjoy a shaded pergola dedicated to them with adequate equipment for bathing. The beach bar provides a variety of first courses and sandwiches to try, at relatively high costs but accessible to everyone. Parking can be a bit difficult in high season, but the sea is clean, just like the sand.

Positive experience: I usually don't like sandy beaches, but this one has a great swimming area! There's parking nearby, but not a single water fountain is open to wash off the sand afterwards!

Positive experience: Beautiful little beach. Pleasant. The only downside is that there are no showers, only foot showers. I think it's rare these days to still find a beach with showers.

Fantastic experience: In September, the beach was very clean, parking was no problem before 10 AM, the water is clear and you have water up to your knees for a good fifteen meters from the shore. I recommend it.

Negative experience: Very bad, no restrooms, no beach bar, and no water to clean your feet.

Positive experience: Without a doubt the best beach in the area, very beautiful and well maintained. It has two zones of different levels regarding the seabed and enough space for several families. The only problem I see is the absence of a beach bar. Other than that, quite good.

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming beach with clear waters where fish come to eat from the hand. They swarm so much because they love bread. Impressive. Like many beaches in Spain, it is calm without the thunderous noise of radios at over-amplified decibels like in other countries. There is a sense of respect, and that is an important point.
